Who
The 2012 Agri in America calendar will be used by participating FFA chapters as a new method of fundraising as well as an in class educational project relating to various aspects of agriculture.
This new fundraising approach and product will be well received, purchased, and used by the families, friends, and neighbors of the individual FFA members.
The sponsor of this program will not only gain public relation benefits, but after the FFA fundraising program is completed, can sell this product to their own customers and the general public in order to cover all sponsorship cost as well as generate additional funding revenue.
Why
Yes, we all agree that fundraising is a necessary evil, but it still must be done in most youth organizations. With this type of program we are able to provide more than just the “dollar” issues of fundraising, but will also promote awareness and education in agriculture to the donors and the general public as well as the students.
What
The unique and innovative design of the “insert tear out educational pages” between the monthly picture and calendar pages is well liked by all that see it.
This product will meet and exceed the requirements needed to be a very successful venture for all involved.
he high profit return for the chapters as well as the sponsors, adds another great benefit.
When
The 2012 Agriculture in America calendar will be designed and ready for printing by September of 2011 with mockup samples printed in March of 2011 for convention use.
Participating chapters will be contacted during their state conventions from April through July and will run their fundraising/educational program from Oct 1 to Nov. 1.
The sponsor can then market the calendar from November to December of 2011. All calendars will be printed and shipped on a timely manner after orders are received.
Where & How
Four (4) states have committed to this year’s program with fifteen (15) states that are interested and can be acquired by March. Faithwalk will attend each of those state meetings and sign up the participating chapters that then will market the program in their individual communities to families and friends.
Marketing and promotional programs will also be done through local television, radio, and media programs by each chapter in their area while mentioning the sponsor. Each calendar order will be individually shipped directly to the customer with the fundraising proceeds sent to the chapters during November and December.
The sponsor participation program guidelines, responsibilities, and agreements will be determined in detail between the selected sponsor and Faithwalk Corporation as needed.
